The Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) Department at the University of California San Diego is now offering online OSHA training in cooperation with the OSHA Training Institute Education Center of the University of South Florida and the American Safety Council.

This online course is a pre-requisite to the OSHA 500 trainer course and covers OSHA construction safety and health standards, with a special emphasis on hazardous areas. With this course provided by the UC San Diego OSHA Training Institute Education Center in cooperation of the University of South Florida and American Safety Council, Inc., you’ll learn policies and procedures regarding hazard communication, safety programs, personal protective equipment, fall protection and more.
This online course is a pre-requisite to the OSHA 501 trainer course and provides a comprehensive overview of the OSHA standards for the general industry. In this course, provided by the UC San Diego OSHA Training Institute Education Center in cooperation of the University of South Florida and American Safety Council, Inc., you’ll learn about OSHA’s general industry requirements, as well as helpful topics such as ergonomics, industrial hygiene, and safety and health programs in the workplace.
This online course provides a comprehensive overview of OSHA safety standards and hazard recognition procedures for the construction industry. In this course, you’ll learn about OSHA’s construction industry requirements, as well as useful topics such as personal protective equipment, fall protection, health hazards in construction and more. Upon completion, you will receive your OSHA 30 hour card.
